"Adapt" is a creative project by iymcc aimed to reimagine humanity's practices against threats. It follows the rampage of massive creatures (referred to as 'titans') throughout central and Western United States. Though other countries are also being affected, the US divert its resources into a new government program — the Regional Hazard Extermination Assembly [R.H.E.A.]. This program commissions two heavily competing industrial superpowers to construct the infrastructure that will kill the invasive titans.
Macedon Industrial backs three establishments, Harpre Systems runs four. Both are entrusted with entirely secret and entirely separate research agendas, and both are stunningly close to reaching them. With somewhat uncalibrated moral compasses, the industries build flagships and armadas of their own. R.H.E.A., of course, remains questionably behind it all.
It is well past due for humanity to truly fight back and reclaim dominance. No one is coming to save them, after all. The method of fighting back, however, raises another question that will become strikingly more prominent:
Is defense something to be privatized?
